Yes, Dyartt's List of Article Directories is the biggest list out there, but let's face it: submitting to every single one of these article directories is impractical. Sure, there are really great tools like the digiXMAS Article Submitter that will submit to several hundred of them in a very short amount of time (minutes in some cases), and there are some huge article directories like e-Zine Articles and Article Dashboard that get enough traffic to make submitting worthwhile. I recently had the pleasure of using the DigiXMAS Article Submitter. It is hands down the best semi-autonomous article submission application available. It took a bit to get it set up, but even that was a mostly automated process. It only took a few clicks to get registered at 836 article directories. Fortunately, I used my Gmail account (which allows POP3 access), so the software was able to log into my email account and "click" all my activation links for me too! How sweet is that!!
